Frequently Asked Questions

Project Overview

P2U focuses on the frontline areas most affected by energy disruptions, including regions with infrastructure damage. Our goal is to offer sustainable, decentralized energy services to vulnerable communities.

The Power2Ukraine Project is a humanitarian initiative providing critical support to people in Ukraine experiencing energy disruptions. It delivers a resilient, locally managed energy service, the Community Energy Service (CES), using solar stations, portable batteries, and electric vehicles.

Donations & Contributions

WebTree is a crowdfunding platform that lets people support real-world social impact projects and/or physical assets—like solar panels, EV chargers, and batteries—by investing small amounts of money alongside others. Instead of investing in a company’s shares, you are supporting physical assets that are already built or deployed and generate real passive income.

You can donate via credit card, PayPal, cryptocurrency, and more on our website. 100% of donations fund Zip Utility Tokens (ZUT), which provide energy to Ukrainian households and critical services.

You are investing in fractions of real energy assets, such as: Fixed Energy Assets (FEAs) These stay in one place and generate income over time, for example: • Rooftop solar panels • EV charging points • Community battery systems Mobile Energy Assets (MEAs) These can move and be used flexibly, for example: • Bi-directional electric vehicles • Portable battery packs (AKA TommyCan battery packs) All assets are metered and monitored, so performance and income can be measured transparently.

Yes, donations are tax-deductible in the UK and the USA, as allowed by law. Retain your donation receipt for tax purposes.

Investor funds support Community Energy Service (CES) and Mobility Service (CMS) franchises, self-governed by local communities to launch decentralized energy services.

Yes, you can make direct monthly donations to HEDS (Home Energy Delivery Service) registered households to support them with emergency energy services.

There are two possible types of return: 1. Passive income from daily asset use Some of the money earned by the energy asset may be shared with investors on a regular basis. This depends on how the asset performs and is not guaranteed. 2. Outcome-based rewards (impact rewards) In addition to income, some projects include impact rewards linked to real-world results, such as: • Carbon emissions reduced • Energy supplied to off-gridded communities • Improved energy resilience These rewards are structured using Social Impact Bonds (SIBs) and/or Humanitarian Impact Bonds (HIBs).

No. • You are not buying shares in a company • You are not lending money • You do not get voting or control rights Instead, you receive economic participation through passive income linked to asset performance.

This is not a savings account, and your money will be locked-up for a pre-agreed time period. The longer you agree to stake your asset, the higher your passive income return may be.

Yes, but it will only be available through FCA-regulated third-party platform partners.

Organizations can partner with P2U through sponsorship, employee volunteering, RWA-NFT purchases, or co-creating fundraising events. Contact us via our Partnerships page for more information.

Technical Details

ATEVs are off-road electric vehicles with bi-directional charging, serving as mobile battery storage for critical infrastructure like medical facilities when the grid is offline.

Each registered household gets a Smart Docking Connector (SDC), connecting TommyCan battery packs to household appliances like heaters and mobile devices.

Our blockchain-based performance reports show how, when, and where your donations are used, ensuring transparency and accountability.

We provide blockchain data, stories, and reports to show your donation’s impact. You can also interact with registered households via our web3 social channel.

Membership & Involvement

MyZipEV.club offers members fractional ownership of electric vehicles (EVs) with bi-directional charging, supporting local energy security.

Fractional ownership allows co-owning a share of our EV fleet, offering EV benefits without the full cost and responsibility of ownership.

Sign up on MyZipEV.club or through your Household Dashboard for fractional EV ownership, discounts on EV charging, and more.

Follow us on social media, sign up for the P2U newsletter, or visit our website for updates on project activities, impact stories, and events.

Yes, we welcome volunteers! Complete a volunteer application on our website, and we’ll match you with opportunities based on your expertise and interests.

Yes, direct investment is possible through RWAs (real-world assets) via RWA-NFTs.

Yes, the minimum RWA-NFT investment is $100.

Yes, RWA-NFTs can be sold on a Secondary Market after the lock-up period ends.

Sustainability

Our EVs with bi-directional charging act as mobile batteries, enhancing local energy resilience by supplying power to critical infrastructure, homes, or back to the grid.

V2L (Vehicle-to-Load): powers infrastructure V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle): charges another EV V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid): sends power back to the grid.

MyZipEV.club's shared ownership model, combined with bi-directional charging, reduces carbon footprints while supporting a sustainable energy grid.

As a member, you access advanced EV technology, contribute to local sustainability, and support humanitarian efforts through the Power2Ukraine collaboration.
